Audrey Ryan has been with Aegon Asset Management (AAM) since 1997. She is a qualified Chartered Accountant and has an MSc in Investment Analysis.
As a senior member of the AAM Equities team Audrey manages several ESG equity portfolios including an ethical fund and was recently appointed as support manager on our global sustainable equity strategies. As well as managing funds she has analysis responsibilities for the travel and leisure sectors and is a small-cap specialist. She has managed the Aegon Ethical Equity Fund for over twenty years and is a regular presenter at industry events.
David is Managing Director, Global Private Markets, responsible for building our our private markets business at Ninety One. Prior to this David was Managing Director of the UK Client Group at Investec Asset Management, responsible for retail and institutional business in the UK and Ireland. David initially joined Investec Asset Management as sales director for UK & Europe in 2000. Prior to Investec Asset Management, David worked at Gartmore Asset Management with responsibility for capital raising for their hedge fund business. Previously, David was head of institutional pooled sales in the UK and offshore areas for Fleming Investment Management. David started his career as a Chartered Accountant after graduating from Nottingham City University with a degree in Accounting and Finance.
Karis Stander is an Executive Director of the Investment Association (IA) and Managing Director of Investment20/20, the IA’s talent solution. She leads a team that improves inclusive recruitment into the industry supporting firms with attracting, recruiting and developing graduates and school and college leavers from a wider diversity of backgrounds. Karis joined Investment20/20 in 2014 and under her leadership it is now a multi-award winning talent solution that has enabled more than 1,800 young professionals start their careers with over 55 investment firms. She has led her team in a dedicated community outreach programme so that we have an industry that is better reflective of the communities and people we serve. By driving an inclusive recruitment approach where firms hire for potential rather than experience or academic background alone, Karis is helping to drive a forward-thinking, responsible and inclusive investment industry.
