Awards open to entry!
This year, Investment Week is also inviting entries for a number of industry categories to reward individuals and groups who are at the forefront of driving change across the investment trust/VCT sector.
Entries must be received by 22 September and the shortlist for these categories will be announced in early October.
Investment Company Rising Star of the Year
This is an individual award open to nominees with a maximum of five years' experience in the investment industry at 30 November 2025 (this includes any role in the broader investment sector). Individuals can nominate themselves or be nominated by colleagues. Please note, they must be currently working in a role directly involved with investment trusts/VCTs.
Judges will consider professional progression and performance but will also take into account factors including: passion for the sector; excellence in their role; improvements to existing processes or products; engagement in industry-wide initiatives; and helping promote the investment company sector more widely.
Investment Company Analyst of the Year
Open to individual investment trust/VCT analysts in the UK who can demonstrate excellence in their market commentary this year. Can be self-nominated or nominated by someone else.
We will be looking for nominees who have taken am original approach/focused on an overlooked area/or carried out in depth research that has impacted investors or the wider sector.
Investment Company Support Partner of the Year
Open to technology companies, compliance firms, law firms, brokers, research agencies, analyst firms, marketing and communications agencies who support the investment trust and VCT sector in the UK.
The judges will be looking for evidence of how entrants have supported clients in the investment trust and VCT sector over the past year to 30 June and the impact they have had, as well as how they have contributed to the wider investment trust/VCT industry.
Investment Company Shareholder Initiative of the Year
Open to investment trusts and VCT providers in the UK.
At a time of increased focus on this important area, we will be looking for impactful initiatives to support shareholders in a particular trust/VCT or across a range of vehicles.
VCT Provider of the Year
Open to VCT providers who can demonstrate key developments or successes across their VCT range in the past 12 months to 30 June 2025, excellent shareholder engagement and contribution to the wider VCT industry.
