Alan co-founded Goodhart Partners in 2009 and today heads up our Global Real Return team, as well as overseeing investment activitied throughout the organisation. Alan’s diverse background began with investment consulting and manager research, holding senior roles at Hymans Robertson and Aon, before moving into multi-manager investing and launching thematic fund strategies at WestLB. Having established Goodhart Partners, Alan spent a decade building and supporting boutique investment firms. He later served as CIO of Templeton Global Equity Group (2019–2023) before returning to Goodhart. Alan is a long-term, thematic investor with a value bias and strong focus on portfolio structure and risk. He holds an MSc in Investment Analysis and a BA (Hons) in Economic Policy, both from the University of Stirling, Scotland.

George Cotton has been a Portfolio Manager in the Multi-Asset & Systematic team of the Asset Management division of Bank J. Safra Sarasin Ltd since 2017. In January 2022, he was promoted to Co-Lead Portfolio Manager for JSS Commodity – Diversified within the Multi Asset & Systematic team after he had been a Co-portfolio manager in the Multi Asset Institutional team for five years. He is also Portfolio Manager of the JSS Commodity – Transition Enhanced since launch in October 2024. Prior to that, he completed the two-year Quantitative Analyst Graduate Trainee Program upon joining the Bank in 2015. His current focus is on top-down systematic portfolio management in tandem with quantitative research and development. He began his professional career at Hermes Equity Ownership Services as a Research Assistant in 2014. George Cotton is a UK citizen. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Investment Banking and received a Master of Science in Investment Management from Henley Business School at the University of Reading.

Peter established the Global Listed Infrastructure strategy in 2007. Since then he has built a high quality team of investment specialists and a strong investment track record. Peter has more than 20 years' investment experience. Prior to joining the company in January 2007, Peter was a Director and Head of Infrastructure and Utilities Research at Credit Suisse Equities (Australia). Peter was also an analyst at Macquarie Equities during the initial development of the private infrastructure market. Peter holds a Bachelor Economics (Finance) from Macquarie University.

Roger Skeldon is Head of Real Estate and Co-Fund Manager for TIME Investments’ property funds, including TIME:Property Long Income & Growth, and has been at the company for over 10 years. He has almost 20 years’ experience in fund management, finance and commercial property. Previously, Roger was an Assistant Director at Close Brothers Group PLC’s tax efficient and property funds division, with responsibilities across a number of commercial property funds.
