Fund: Atlantic House Defensive Defined Returns Fund

Why is the Fund a Fund to Watch:

• Enhanced Predictability - The fund is made up of 'defined return' investments linked to major equity indices, which offer a set return for a taking a defined risk regarding market movements. This type of investment has seen a surge in popularity in recent years as investors seek some level of predictability in portfolios, amidst heightened global uncertainty.

• A Hedging Overlay Offering True Diversification - Protection for the fund is through a tailored range of strategies, chosen and blended through the firm's own Hedging Framework. The Framework optimises variables from a range of major banks' own frameworks to construct a screen for hedging strategies. Further qualitative and quantitative analysis is then undertaken to ensure a diversified approach to hedging a wide range of market stress environments.

• A Valuable Source of Resilience - With exposure to equity market shocks dampened through hedging, the fund provides more short-term resilience than standard defined returns investments. The resulting smoother journey across a wide range of market scenarios could be a welcome alternative source of returns for investors taking a defensive stance and wanting greater predictability
