22nd November 2023 - The Brewery, London

Now in their seventh year, the Investment Week Women in Investment Awards have a vital role to play in helping accelerate the pace of change towards a more diverse and inclusive investment industry.

We had a phenomenal response to last year’s awards but we believe 2023’s ceremony can be even bigger and better.

Our awards not only honour the inspiring achievements of women across all parts of the investment industry, they also help shape the discussion around how we can improve diversity & inclusion within the sector and make a real impact.

Investment Week is championing improving diversity & inclusion within the investment sector and we believe these awards have a valuable part to play in drawing attention to this issue and demonstrating real change is starting to happen.

We hope you will take this opportunity to either nominate yourself or a valued colleague for these awards and we look forward to revealing our finalists and winners later in the year.

KEY DATES FOR YOUR DIARY:

Nominations open

You can nominate yourself or a colleague. Please only nominate the same person once as the number of nominations does not contribute to future success. This year we are restricting the number of nominations each person makes to three only.

Finalists announced

After the judging process has taken place, we will announce the list of successful finalists mid September

Entry questionnaires

Once nominations have closed, all nominees will be contacted and asked to complete a questionnaire. The purpose of this questionnaire is to find out a bit more about the nominee and their role for our judges. A questionnaire needs to be submitted in order to progress to the next stage.

Winners announced

The winners will be announced at the in-person awards ceremony in London

Sustainability

Investment Week is committed to the journey in becoming more sustainable. By using the guidelines set out by Ecovadis, we will be working towards the accreditation. The goal is to reduce paper consumption across events and improve recycling rates, curb food waste and alter menus with an aim to include locally sourced, organic produce. We have also committed to deliver carbon offsetting at events wherever possible and provide delegates with accessible venues. We will be closely evaluating each event and considering how we can improve in the following areas; energy, transport, water usage, recycling, economic and local environment/community.

Carbon Offsetting

Incisive Media have partnered with Ecosphere+ to ensure all our remaining greenhouse gas emissions are offset. Working with Ecosphere+, we calculate the emissions from all our events, including those from event operations, venues and delegates. We then purchase the equivalent number of carbon offset credits to counter-act our activities. These credits are supporting the protection of vital rainforest in Peru, by funding conservation work and creating sustainable sources of income for locals to minimise incentives for deforestation.
