Tuesday 13th February London

Navigating a changing world

Sustainable and impact investing has entered the next phase in the evolution of this important area for investors as the sector navigates a raft of new UK and global regulations.

At this morning event, delegates will hear from a range of fund managers about how they are responding to regulatory change and political upheaval, as well as how they are taking advantage of opportunities and working through challenges.

Speakers will explain how their funds are tackling global environmental and societal issues. We will also be discussing how they measure impact, effective engagement strategies, how client reporting is evolving and where these funds may sit in portfolios.

Our Sustainable & Impact Briefing will give delegates a chance to interact with speakers and peers to discuss the big talking points around the development of sustainable investing. This concise morning event will run from 08:30 - 10:30 which means minimal time spent out of the office!

Achieving the Dual Objective: Positive Impact on People and Planet and Financial Returns

Given the urgency to halt global warming, prevent biodiversity loss and drive social progress, we believe that investing in companies that are providing scalable, innovative products and services which help companies to achieve these outcomes has a wider, more powerful impact compared to investing in companies which are simply improving their own footprint or complying with best practices. We will discuss how we invest in listed companies that are generating positive and measurable change alongside financial returns. Our investment process is based on the belief that investors don’t have to choose between positive impact and the potential for strong financial returns as financial sustainability underpins both goals. We will therefore explain how our investment framework is used to assess company impact alongside traditional financial analysis.
