Alex Araujo has been manager of the M&G Global Listed Infrastructure Fund and the Luxembourg-domiciled M&G (Lux) Global Listed Infrastructure Fund since they launched in October 2017, and was appointed manager of the M&G Global Themes Fund in January 2019. Alex initially joined M&G’s income team in July 2015 and became co-deputy manager of the M&G Global Dividend Fund in April 2016. Alex has 25 years of experience in financial markets, having previously worked at UBS and BMO Financial Group. He graduated from the University of Toronto with an MA in economics and is a CFA charterholder.
Anthony Lawler is Head of GAM Systematic, and an Investment Director for the alternative risk premia strategy. Anthony Lawler joined GAM in November 2011 after spending eight years with Man Group based in London and Chicago, latterly as head of portfolio management, leading a global team covering all of Man Investments’ multi-manager mandates. This followed his role as head of hedge fund research at Man Glenwood. Prior to Man Group, he was an equity research analyst at Prudential Securities and a manager at venture capital firm Castling Group. He began his career as an M&A analyst at Merrill Lynch. Anthony holds an MBA in Finance and Economics from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and a BSc (highest Honours) in Finance from the University of Illinois. He is based in London.
Ben Ritchie is the Head of European Equities at Aberdeen Standard Investments. Ben originally joined Aberdeen Asset Management in 2002 on the graduate scheme. He is the co-manager of the ASI Europe ex UK Equity Fund, the Aberdeen Standard SICAV I European Equity (ex UK) Fund, the Aberdeen Standard SICAV I European Equity Fund and the Dunedin Income Growth Investment Trust.

Clark is a Partner at RWC and manages the RWC Diversified Return Fund. Clark is the former co-CIO of Permal, a multi-manager alternative-investment firm. He joined Permal after its purchase, in 2013, of Fauchier Partners, where he had been the CEO. Previously, Clark worked at Morgan Stanley on the Equity Arbitrage desk, and previously managed the firm's hedge-fund lending risk within the Prime Brokerage division.
Darryl joined Barings in January 2016. He launched and manages the Barings Global Equity Income and Global Cautious Equity strategies. Darryl joined Barings from Sarasin & Partners, where he was Head of Equity Income with responsibility for the full suite of dividend mandates at the company. Prior to Sarasin & Partners, Darryl was a credit analyst at ABN AMRO Asset Management and has also held several other analyst roles. Darryl holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Bath.
Continental European Equity Fund
Deirdre is a portfolio manager for the Global Environment Strategy in the Natural Resources team at Investec Asset Management. She joined the team in 2018, and is a utility, infrastructure and energy transition specialist.
Prior to this, she was a Partner, Portfolio Manager and Head of Research at Ecofin. Before joining Ecofin, Deirdre was an investment banker at Morgan Stanley where she headed their European Renewable Energy coverage effort and built an investment banking and principal investing franchise. She has long had a passion for sustainable investing and has worked on a voluntary basis in the microfinance sector both in the US and in Pakistan. She is a member of the advisory board of Girls Who Invest, a non-profit organisation whose mission is to increase the percentage of the world’s investable capital run by women. She is also a member of the advisory board of the Shell Foundation’s Energy Company of the Future project, as well as the advisory board for Imperial College’s Centre for Climate Finance and Investment.
Deirdre earned her MBA from Harvard Business School, where she was a Baker Scholar, and her BA from University College Dublin.
Bio: Garland is a portfolio manager responsible for our Multi-Asset Credit, High Yield and Investment Grade Credit funds at Investec Asset Management.
Prior to joining the firm he was Head of High Yield at Intermediate Capital Group, where he was also a member of the investment committee for the firms senior secured loans, high yield bond and direct lending funds. Before that Garland worked at Credit Suisse Asset Management where he was Head of European Credit Research for both European High Yield and Investment Grade, as well as lead portfolio manager for European high Yield and co-manager for Global High Yield strategies. Prior to this Garland established the Investment Grade Corporate Bond Strategy for Delbruck Asset Management in Frankfurt, and was also a fixed income portfolio manager within Dresdner Bank’s institutional asset management division.
Garland holds a Finance and Capital Markets degree (Diplombetriebswirt) from the Hochschule fuer Bankwirtschaft University in Frankfurt, and is also a CFA Charterholder.
Guy Glover, MRICS, is a Fund Manager for the BMO UK Property Fund. Guy joined the Group in 2004 and has experience across all market sectors, with recent focus on Central London. Guy is a Chartered Surveyor and holds a Bachelors Degree in Land Management and a Postgraduate Diploma in Property Investment.
Ian has thirty years of experience in fund management and started working with Nick Purves at Schroders in 2007 before joining RWC in August 2010. Whilst at Schroders he was a senior portfolio manager managing the Institutional Specialist Value Funds, the Schroder Income Fund and Income Maximiser Fund together with Nick.
James co-manages the RWC Emerging & Frontier Markets strategies with John Malloy. He has been investing in these economies for over 20 years, along with several of the 18-strong team of analysts and economists that form the RWC Emerging & Frontier Markets team.
Jamie Jenkins is Head of the Responsible Global Equities team. Jamie joined the firm in 2000 and is co-manager of the F&C Responsible Global Equity Fund and the F&C Responsible Sharia Global Equity Fund. Prior to joining the firm, Jamie worked at Hill Samuel Asset Management as a Japanese Equities Fund Manager. He holds an MA in History from the University of Edinburgh, and has obtained his IIMR qualifications and is a member of the CFA Society of the UK.
Jason joined Jupiter in 2015 and is currently Head of Strategy, Asian Income as well as the manager of the Jupiter Asian Income Fund (Unit Trust) and the Jupiter Asia Pacific Income fund (SICAV).
Before joining Jupiter, Jason was at Newton (joining in 2004) where he ran an Asian equity income fund from 2005 until his departure in 2015. Prior to that, Jason was responsible for stock selection and asset allocation in the Asia ex-Japan region for the BP Pension Fund. Jason began investing in the Asia Pacific (excluding Japan) region in 1993.

Juan is a research and engagement specialist with over 17 years of experience, 7 of which have been at BMO Global Asset Management. He conducts research and engages on a range of environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues with companies across emerging and frontier markets, with the aim of assessing ESG risk management practices across our holdings and promoting their improvement. Prior to joining the firm, Juan worked in credit risk management at ABN AMRO Bank, assessing credit and ESG risks present in the bank’s global corporate lending operations. Juan holds a master’s degree in International Affairs from Columbia University and a BSc in Industrial Engineering. Juan is a native Spanish speaker.
Laura is a co-lead portfolio manager for the Goldman Sachs Asset Management Global Millennials Equity Strategy and a lead research analyst on the Global Equity team. She has research responsibilities in the Consumer Discretionary, Internet and Business Services sectors. She helps lead our thought leadership in the thematic space across Fundamental Equity, focused on: technological innovation, demographic changes and environmental impact. She spearheaded the launch of the Millennials Strategy following in depth analysis on the changing consumer behaviour of the Millennials generation and its impact on corporates. Before joining the investing team Laura worked as a client portfolio manager covering Europe and Emerging Market equities. She joined GSAM in July 2012 after obtaining a BA in Science, Technology and Society from the University of Pennsylvania.
Mark Nichols joined Jupiter in July 2019 to manage the Jupiter European Fund (Unit Trust) and the Jupiter European Growth fund (SICAV).
Prior to joining Jupiter, Mark managed European equity portfolios at Columbia Threadneedle and before that at BMO Global Asset Management (F&C). He began his investment career in the European equities team at Invesco in 2001.
Mark has an undergraduate degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Oxford University and a postgraduate degree in Contemporary History & Politics from London University.
Matthew is an Investment Manager in the Japanese Equities Team. He is manager of the Japanese All Cap Strategy and Lead Manager of the Japanese Income Growth Strategy. He is also a member of the Global Stewardship Portfolio Construction Group. Matthew joined Baillie Gifford in 2003 and became a Partner in 2018. He is a CFA Charterholder. Matthew graduated BA (Hons) in Natural Sciences (Psychology) from the University of Cambridge in 2000 and holds a PhD in Psychology from the University of Bristol.
Mike Scott is a Portfolio Manager at Man GLG and has over 13 years of investment experience. He began his career at Cazenove Capital Management in 2005 before moving to Schroders in 2006. Mike initially spent four years as a European industrials credit analyst covering investment grade and high yield and went on to become the lead high yield portfolio manager. Mikel graduated from Oxford University and is a CFA Charterholder.
Mike joined Sanlam in January 2013 to develop a multi-strategy proposition. Previously, he headed up the multi-asset group at Insight Investments. Before this, Mike spent 20 years at Credit Suisse where he held senior positions including Head of Special Mandates and Head of Trusts and Charities in the asset management and private banking divisions. As Head of Multi-Asset Solutions at Credit Suisse, Mike managed a team of 14 with responsibility for £5bn of AUM.
Nick is Head of the Small Cap Equities Team and co-manager of the Baring Europe Select Trust, the Baring European Opportunities Fund and the Baring International Small Cap strategy. He joined Barings in 2004, having previously worked for 11 years at Singer & Friedlander, where he was Head of the European desk and a member of the Investment Policy Committee. During his tenure at Singer & Friedlander, Nick was responsible for managing both institutional and retail European funds across the capitalization range. Nick has a BA (Hons) in English Language and Literature from Corpus Christi College, Oxford.
Ross is the senior investment specialist for the Aberdeen Standard Investments equity fund range and is responsible for the commercialisation and development of the equity asset class. He works alongside the investment team and his primary role is to ensure that clients and consultants have clarity on the philosophy, process and investment positioning of this growing asset class. By understanding the changing needs of different groups of investors, he is responsible for developing new equity strategies and customised investment solutions for institutional clients globally. A key focus for Ross is the China A-Share strategy, working closely with the Hong Kong-based portfolio management team.
Thematics Asset Management
Willem is responsible for LGIM's tactical asset allocation strategies. Willem joined LGIM in 2014 from BNP Paribas Investment Partners where he held the title of Head of TAA Research and Strategies. In this role he took responsibility for the multi-asset investment process and active management of global multi-asset portfolios, leading a team of economists, strategists and analysts. Prior to that, he held various positions in the same multi-asset solutions team overseeing portfolio management activities and the TAA research effort, and was involved in alpha generation. He started his investment career in the same team as a portfolio manager in 2001, and started to manage absolute return portfolios and GTAA overlay portfolios in 2004. Willem graduated from the University of Groningen and University of Amsterdam, and holds a master’s degree in econometrics and actuarial sciences. Willem is also a CFA charterholder.
