Eoghan McDonagh is a Director and Senior Portfolio Manager in the Emerging Markets Fixed Income Team, with twenty years of experience in Emerging Markets. He joined Allianz Global Investors in London in 2014 where he manages EM bond funds across sovereign, sub-sovereign and corporate opportunities in both hard and local currency. While investing across Global Emerging Markets, his macro research focus area is the Middle East and Eastern Europe. Eoghan is also responsible for the insurance-dedicated funds. Previously, Eoghan worked as a market maker for Emerging Markets at Credit Suisse, before moving to a global macro hedge fund. Eoghan graduated with a Bachelor of Business and Legal Studies from University College Dublin in Ireland.
