Stonehage Fleming Investment Management Limited manages £19bn in AUM and employs over 100 people in the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Jersey and South Africa. The Global Equity Management division (GEM) sits within this business, with overall responsibility for £4bn in listed equity investments via a number of Irish and UK domiciled funds, white label funds and segregated client mandates. The Stonehage Fleming Global Best Ideas Equity Fund (GBI) is the flagship equity product of the GEM division. The GBI team has its own independent investment philosophy, strategy, process and Investment Committee. The Global Equity Management division is led by Gerrit Smit.
