Claudia Calich
Head of Emerging Markets Debt

Claudia Calich joined M&G in October 2013 as a specialist in emerging markets debt and, in December 2013, started managing the Emerging Markets Bond strategy. Since May 2017, she has also been on the management team of strategies domiciled in Luxembourg. Claudia has more than 20 years of experience in emerging markets, including as a senior portfolio manager at Invesco in New York, and previous positions at Oppenheimer Funds, Fuji Bank, Standard & Poor’s and Reuters. Claudia graduated with a BA (Honours) in Economics from Susquehanna University in 1989 and holds an MA in International Economics from the International University of Japan in Niigata.

Daniel Farrell
Director, International Short Duration, Fixed Income
Northern Trust Asset Management

Daniel Farrell is Director of International Short Duration within the Fixed Income Group of Northern Trust Asset Management, based in London. In this capacity, Daniel manages the team responsible for Sterling, US Dollar and Euro global cash funds, ultra-short strategies, separately managed institutional client mandates and securities lending cash reinvestment. He is part of the EMEA Executive Management Team and a voting member across a number of committees, including Interest Rate Strategy Committee, Macroeconomic Scenario Design Committee, EMEA Business Risk Committee and Product Governance Committee. Dan holds a BSc (Hons) in Information Management and Business Studies from Loughborough University and the Investment Management Certificate from the UK Society of Investment Professionals.

Edward Harrold

Edward Harrold is an investment director at Capital Group. He has 17 years of industry experience and has been with Capital Group for 10 years. Prior to joining Capital, Edward worked as an associate in RBS Global Banking & Markets at the Royal Bank of Scotland. He holds a bachelor’s degree with honours in international relations from the London School of Economics. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.

Gabriele Foà

Algebris Investments

Gabriele Foà is a Portfolio Manager in the Global Credit Team. In his position, he co-manages the Global Credit Opportunities Fund and is lead PM for the Sustainable Bond Fund. He is responsible for the macro research publications of the firm, such as the Algebris Bullet and the Global Credit Bullets. Gabriele joined Algebris in 2019. Previously, he spent four years at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in London as a macro and emerging markets strategist. Gabriele holds a Ph.D in Economics from Yale University, where he specialized in macroeconomics and finance. While in the US, he held positions within the Global EM Strategy team at BAML and at Roubini Global Economics, both in New York. He graduated from Bocconi University in 2009. Gabriele lives in Milan with his wife, son and two daughters. His all-time passion is football.

Jack Stephenson
US Fixed Income Investment Specialist

Jack is an Investment Specialist focusing on US credit strategies (IG & HY) within the Core Investment Specialist & Solutions team, which brings together different experts from across our Fixed Income, Equites and Multi-Asset expertise. Jack, who is based in London, works closely with US fixed income investment teams to provide technical expertise, as well as lead the commercial strategy and client communication for the strategies he covers, in conjunction with Client Group and Marketing. Jack initially joined AXA IM as an RFP Manager in 2015, responsible for writing RFPs and driving business development across all asset classes. He became an Investment Specialist in 2019, initially focusing on actively managed, unconstrained “strategic” funds, which dynamically allocate across the full fixed income spectrum, as represented by AXA IM’s flagship Global Strategic Bonds strategy. He moved to his current role focusing on US fixed income in March 2023. Jack holds a bachelor’s degree in history and Spanish from Durham University.

Mark Benbow

Mark Benbow, portfolio manager, is a member of the global leveraged finance team. He specialises in high yield bonds and co-manages our global high yield strategies. Prior to his current role, Mark worked for Scottish Widows Investment Partnership, where he was an analyst on the global equities team. Previous to this, he worked at Morgan Stanley as a financial analyst. He has been in the industry since 2008 and started with the firm in 2015. Mark holds a first-class honours degree in Management and Economics and a Masters in Investment and Finance.
